This will certainly bring your hat back to life, encouraging the hat to look as great as it did the day you bought it. This service also includes a complementary steam and clean.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a sweatband for life, so we like to offer services to replace all sweatband types. Here at Bates, we change sweatbands to the following; Leather, Petersham, Cloth/Fabric. All sweatband materials will depend on the product itself, so please do drop by to get our recommendation & advice on which sweatband you should have. Prices can vary dependant on material.

Should you be in need of replacing a worn ribbon, or just fancy a change to freshen your look, please come see the extensive range which we offer in store. From your classic cuts, to your current bolder options, we will have something for you. Not only do we offer a change in ribbon colour and width, but a variety of ribbon finishes, all applied by hand.

If you’re not happy with the current base of your hat, but do not wish to purchase a new model, we offer a service to strengthen the body of the hat. Completely changing the product to something more suited. We can change a soft felt into a stiff blocked product.

Unfortunately, perspiration or general wear can get the best of a hat lining. Therefore we offer an internal lining replacement service. For that clean cut, new, fresh feel we have our new re-branded lining and colour scheme offering more of a luxurious quality.

If you’re passing, or find yourself with 5-10 minutes, please drop by the store where you will find any member of staff, more than happy to give your hat a quick spruce up.
